Tomorrow is my 3 year check up

Prayers please! Life has had me on a whirl wind. I am scared to face my dr tomorrow. Feeling like a failure but I am going to be brave and face the music. I am teaching a multiage k-2 class. Between the curriculum, commute, and children I am spent. Not exercising or eating like I should. Hope this visit will help to get me back on track. Our sermon tonight was about being thankful even during adverse times in our lives. I couldn't help but think how thankful I am that 3 years ago my life was spared. I had a bowel obstruction that nearly did me in but I guess my mission isn't over yet. I still have work left here to do. This journey hasn't been easy but definitely worth it. As I celebrate the last 3 years I am not at my lowest weight but I have gone from a size 18 to a 4 on a good day... A 6 on a bloated day lol. My husband continues to be my biggest cheerleader and best friend. All in all I guess that qualifies as success even if the numbers aren't exactly where I would like them to be.
Nothing tastes as good as this feels!

I posted here this morning and it disappeared.  Well, again.

If you are still in a 4-6 at 3 yrs, I doubt your Dr is going to be too upset with you.  You have such a full life and over these 3 yrs have had more than your share of troubles but you have hung in there and should be proud of your accomplishment.  You have such a great, supportive family and I know they are proud of you.

Walk in being proud of your accomplishment and I imagine your visit will be fine.

Even though I haven't gained any I am still fearful when I go for my check-ups.  Your Dr. will probably be thrilled that you still have the majority of your weight off.  I'm only 4'11 and wear a size 4 so you are probably pretty darn perfect for your height.

My DD commutes and that is really hard on you.  Being in the car for so long a day is like wasted time that you could be getting something else done.   What happened to the Art Class that you were getting ready to teach?

Prayers and (((HUGS)))

Roz

God is walking with me every step of the way. Because of HIM this is possible!!
