Hello all im new here im 5ft 3 and weigh 210 lbs with bmi of 36 i am going to my seminar on june 12 my heaviest weight was 295lbs nearly 3 yrs ago i managed to get down to the 195 lb range with hard cardio and clean eating with the intention on loosing 35 lbs more. Long story short i have spent the last 3 yrs trying to get the 35lbs off and NO luck!! To top it off i was diagnosed with a painful tumor in my knee which limits my excercise im!now up to 210lbs in 7 months i have nyship empire plan which is great. Insurance but idk if my comorbidities will let me get help i need to not bounce. Back to what i was

I have depression anxiety. Joint pain from tumor, and i snore like hell but never checked if it was apnea

Im worried abt the comorbidities i have family history of diabetes cholesterol cancer. High blood pressure arthritis. Any tips advice?

I was 36.8, not too different from where you are. I got tested for sleep apnea and sure enough I had it. That's a significant comorbidity. If you see the surgeon for a consult they may have you test for sleep apnea, diabetes, high blood pressure and cholesterol. If you have a couple of comorbidities your chances of getting approved are much much better. Good luck and keep us posted.

You may need to be tested for a couple of things to bump up your co-morbidities.  If your Dr group is like mine, they will have a good handle on what you need to get approved and they will be good at making it happen for you.  Good luck.  Keep us informed.

Welcome to our LW Board!!  I'm trying to catch up on some posts until my DH gets up and wants to work on landscaping.

The others gave you good advice so I just want to wish you luck and if you haven't went to the Drs. yet wear the heaviest clothes you have and don't take your shoes off...lol.

Welcome to the Lightweight board.

My starting BMI was 35.2, 5'4" at 208 lbs. But mine was easy as I was a type 2 insulin pump dependent diabetic.

Good luck.
