Squeezing Feeling

I'm almost one week out and from time to time I feel like someone is squeezing something in my tummy. I can't seem to associate it with anything specific like gas, or eating, or drinking. Anyone else experience this?

I was RNY and I remember having lots of strange feelings, weird sounds and being hot, then cold, then hot.  I think part of it is from being put under and part is just your body adjusting to the "new" you and how it is going to handle things.  I wouldn't worry unless the pain is awful and you can't function through it or it keeps on.  Just bring it up to your dr when you see them.

Thanks, Price. I would not consider it painful (for me).  It's tolerable. I'm just wondering what the heck it could be. I go back to the surgeon on the 30th and they said I could call with questions, if needed. It's just nice to hear from others who have actually experienced WLS. This site is so helpful. Thanks for your insight.

Your body will go through a ton of changes, some seem big, some small, but will just be different.  It takes some getting use to and then it seems to change again.  It WAS helpful when those crazy things would happen to me to know that oh yeah, that happens, and it goes away!!!

If it keeps it up I would definitely contact your Drs. office.  I remember having a lot of pain on my left side around my belly button and the Dr. said there wasn't really anything there that could be hurting.  It did take it awhile to quit hurting but I felt so much better talking to him.
