Just wondering if any of you remember how much you lost that first week once you dropped the water weight gain while in the hospital?

I didn't weigh until ten days out, but I was down 20.5 lbs from the day before surgery. 31 lbs down at three weeks out, but keep in mind I had a bad infection and was in the hospital for a week fighting that. They told me that would suck up a lot of nutrients/energy.

Height: 6'0" HW 5/2013 295. Consult 7/29/14 275. SW 261. RNY 2/19/15. M1:-33! M2:-13.5. M3:-12. M4:-10.8. M5:-9.7. M6:-5. M7: -4.5. Pregnant 8/15-5/16. 10 weeks post partum: 173.

Nothing! I didn't drop the water weight right away and two weeks later I was at my pre-surgery weight.

I don't remember but also don't remember having water weight. Ok, I'm old and it was a LONG time ago ;)

It seems to me I had consistent weight loss... but I don't think I weighed for a few days after surgery. I know the first month I lost 23 lbs, 2nd 8 , 3rd 10, 4th 7, 5th 8, 6th 9, 7th 5, 8th 6, 9th 4, 10th 3.... (yea, I just found my spreadsheet - lol).

HW-218/SW-208/CW-126/ Lowest Weight-121/Goal-125 - hit 8/23/09/Height-5'3"

Regain 30 lbs from 2012 to 2016 - got back on track and lost it. Took 8 months.
90+/- pounds lost BMI - 24 or so
Starting BMI between 35 and 40ish?

I was on clear liquids for most of that time. The rest of the time it was a couple of lbs a week.
