If anyone is interested ..I think it would be cool to kick around t/idea of having a chat night or daytime chat. Suggest day or time that would be good for you guys. Wouldn't it be great ? Our journeys are as indiviual as we are. No ones journey for weight loss or anything else for that matter are the same. Our paths are full of pitfalls , hills , valleys & Walls. Decide each moment whether to build a bridge , a latter , a raft or a parachute... ( try not to pick up any of those lead sinkers .) All we have is NOW...Live in the now...That may be all we have....Be remembered for the person you are....Not the person you wanted to be ! I'm leaving my mark in this world...I hope it's a good one.

The meeting went great..Pretty good turn out. ! was out of town & 1 had the flu..(poor Barb..she just had hip-replacement..now t/flu.) Our session was on Emotional Eating. Everyone seemed to get lots from it. See ya tomorrow !!

Our support group meets tonight. Some are sick with the flu another has to go to Omaha , But we're having a new member join us tonight..should be fun. I have lots of samples to pass out. Bless OH. There's always someone to help you. I don't know what I would do w/o it. As I've said many, many times..It's just as important to me as the surgery & meetings.

I'm pretty much a basket case when it comes to talking about my son's death 10&1/2 yrs. ago. But the other day a friend of mine I play cards with sent me an e-mail that made me cry for quite a while. But what wonderful tears. It was about a little 12yr. old boy that called a radio station to talk about a calf on his farm that had gotten a broken back & he had to put her down. The little boy went on to explain how close he was to this animal. The DJ ask the boy if he was going to be okay. He replied , "Yeah I'll be alright I just wanted to let people know it's so important when they lose a loved one or pet that God knows just how they feel. He gave his son ya know. So when you feel bad , remember God loves you and is always with you. And he understands." When I cry for the death of my son. It is not for him. I know where he is. I cry selfish tears. Because I miss him so much. I wrote Viv back & thanked her for helping me. I told her I felt like God himself had sent that to me. She said she all most didn't send it because she knew how tender I was on the subject . But she said God told her to. Thank You to both of you.

I was in the hosp. Had to have port & some of t/tubing removed again. Bad infection. Gotta wait two months before it goes back in. Dr. Holloway & staff are great folks though.Just tak'en it easy for a few days. Will post more tomorrow.

I finally started moving t/scale again. One lb...but hey..it all adds up. We went to Dave's Christmas party last night. We were told it would be prime rib & lots of drinks & deserts. I called the hostess ahead of time & explained the deal & told her to save t/cash on me. I would just graze off of Save's plate. That's exactly what I did..I got an extra plate & stold Dave's. I passed on t/desert. I really beleive it's mind over matter. Get that into head & YOU WILL SUCCEED !! It was a nice time to visit. That's what's important anyway !!
