"My first impression of Dr. Mattar was that he has a good heart. I met him at the first consultation for about 5 minutes. He was talking to a group of us (6) who were considering surgery. Since I did not talk to him one on one, I cannot say much about his bedside manner. I was a little intimidated by his manner, but I'm sure when I have my next consultation I will be able to speak to him and make a better judgment. He was late to the meeting because he was doing rounds, which led me to believe he takes whatever time is needed with each patient. His PA is excellent, and very patient, the rest of the staff seemed very knowledgeable and direct, but everyone there is very busy.
