Hi WLS FRIENDS, I haven't been on this site in a very long time..but, I have to tell you, without ObesityHelp.com, I never would,have had wls..ever..
I was 66 years old, scared to death in 2003, had diabetes, extremely high blood pressure. I had just hear of wls and didn't know where to begin. I felt 66 was too old and met a few doctors who agreed..on OH! I found my doctor, hospital and location. Cleveland Clinic, Dr. Rosenthal, Sunrise, Florida. I had RNY lap on 1-12-2004.
I am now 79 years old, healthy, not quite 100 lbs lighter and happily retired in Florida with my husband..???? Married 58 years in September 2017.
My hope is to give others encouragement in their wls journey. ??
