"For 17 1/2 years now I have been with the same PCP and one of the greatest reasons is because he is NO Dr. House (although I will occasionally tease him and call him Dr. House... to which he always responds humorously). When I met Dr. Gupta the other day I got that same feeling with her as I have with my long time PCP. It was instantaneous trust. I have seen many \"specialist\" over the years and only 1 other have I ever felt truly comfortable with... until now. I truly liked the fact that Dr. Gupta made a point to mention that she will be there even after the surgery, for many years to come for any complications related to this surgery. That she will help you, follow your care and be there for your check ups. In addition her experience as a surgeon is extensive and the sheer fact that she can perform other surgeries should they become necessary is important to me because... well... because I like consistency in my health care providers (note again that I have been with my PCP for 17 1/2 years). As far as addressing everything, she did this very well and whatever my husband and I didn't understand she took the time with us in consult to thoroughly make sure we did understand.
