As you may know, Peggy Berry is still in the hospital. While Jill and I were in the hospital, she had started to bleed again and was also bleeding at her incision. She said the bleeding has stopped and there was no bleeding today! She was very excited about this. She said that they did a scan of some sort and it showed no internal bleeding anymore. The only problem now is that her blood cell counts are still low and they can't get them up. She was ecstatic that she was allowed to start her stage 3 diet. She had diced chicken today and will be getting scrambled eggs tomorrow. Dr. C said he is hoping that by her getting this protein her blood cell count may increase. He will be checking back on her on Monday. She is very bored as this hospital trip was unplanned. She requested that if anyone wouldn't mind, she would like some magazine, crossword/wordsearch puzzles, and some size 14 underwear (hanes her way) from Walmart (because her shorts and underwear were left at her local hospital where she went when she was unconscious). You can tell she is very lonely, and wouldn't mind having visitors (as she isn't telling her family about the surgery and her friends are 2 hours away). She is in room 301.
