Early last year I went through a 6 month process to get approved for surgery, got approved, surgery date was 3/16/2005... and then backed out 2 days before because I was horrified. I faced the fact that I wasn't ready for the change. During the whole process, I had spent so much time defending myself to everyone on why I was doing it, why it was something I really wanted to do....I really didn't sit down and think..."Trina, can you really handle this?"
When I had my all-day Pre-Op Appointment...it just hit me...I wasn't ready. So I lost weight on my own...I have gone from 240lbs. to 199lbs. It has come off very slow but I had to change my life. I was a Size 20 now I am a 14. Still grinding to get to my goal weight of 150lbs. I believe that I will get there no matter how long it takes!!
March 2007- I am down to a Size 12 now wieghing in at a good 180lbs.
