Dear Amanda, I was so happy to receive your message wishing me well with my surgery. Everything went smoothly and I was discharged on April 9th. I have already lost from 260 lbs to 239 lbs as of this morning (21 lbs. WOW!). I will be returning to Barix on Thursday, April 22nd for my 2 week checkup. I will check to see if you are still in the hospital. I think they usually discharge on Thursdays for Monday surgeries. You are in my thought and prayers. Can't wait to hear how you are doing! New Friends are so cool! Cheryl

Amanda... wishing you the best and prayers are sent your way for a speedy recovery. It will be worth all the fight you went thru. I, too, was denied for this surgery but appealed and won. I am one month post op now and doing great. Would do it again in a minute. God Bless U!

Thanks everyone, today is my last posting today until after surgery. Monday is coming so fast. I appreciate all the kind words and information from everyone. I promise to keep everyone updated after I return from the hospital. I can't believe the day is finally so near. I'm overjoyed and excited and everything....THANKS ALL !! Best of luck to all pre-ops and thanks to all post-ops and everyone. All prayers are welcomed Monday morning around 12:00. Thanks.
