Deb, good luck with your upcoming surgery. I had my surgery 3/29/04. Dr Kline is wonderful and you will do fine. I was scared about the pre op testing too, but it wasn't bad. I did not have the scope, I guess it wasn't required when I had the surgery. From what I hear you will be sleeping through the test and won't remember it anyway. I have lost 91 pounds in a little over 4 months...trust me...it is all worth it!

Congratulations on your upcoming surgery and your new lifetime journey on the losing side. Right now you are probably on a rollercoaster emotionally - excited, nervous, scared.... This is normal - don't let it freak you out. Take the time over the next few days and 'center' yourself mentally - focus your mind on other things and keep yourself physically busy too. You will find that your big day will be here in no time and you will be calm and ready for it. We will be here ready to welcome you over to the losing side and support you in your journey. Good luck and hope everything goes well for you. Sarah G LapRNY 6/22/04 295/258/150
