As is the story with most here, I am done with being overweight. Very Done. My problem started in college, I had to have two jobs while I went to college full time. This left little time for eating right. I lived on pop tarts and mac -n- cheese. For breakfast it was usually a couple snickers and a mountain dew. I lived on sugar and have paid for it ever since. When I met my husband we began building a house. We worked into the night most days and lived on pizza and beer. The best way to pay your friends who are helping for free is beer so you of course have to partake.
By the time the my first boy came along I was already shlepping around about 40 extra pounds. I thought I did so well when I only gained 20 pounds during my pregnancy. Little did I know that about 4 years worth of happy meals later I would be up another 20 pounds. Then I got pregnant with the girl child. Again a good pregancy, came out of the hospital weighing what I did when I got pregnant (which mind you was still a lot). However a busy life style with two active kids and a husband who loves to go out to eat have left me where I am now which is around 80 pounds more than I should weigh.
As the username implies, my children are heavily into every sport there is: baseball, basketball, motocross, football, cheerleading and soccer. I do coach my daughter's soccer team and would love to be a size that this would not be a struggle. We are always on the go which makes good nutrition difficult at best.
My goal is to participate more with my kids and blend in with the other mothers at their events. Sounds strange but my goal is to be unnoticed and not judged on the size I am but on how loud I cheer at the games. My kids are my world and my goal is to be a better (and smaller) person for them.
