Karen. Thanks so much for the info about your exp. with strictures. I was sorry to hear you needed to be scoped 5 times. The scope itself has never been a problem ( I had 3 Pre - lap RNY, due to Severe Acid Reflux). What is a problem is that I have run out of Sick and Personal Days at work; like you I had Wound Infections after the Bypass that kept me out of work 5 and a 1/2 weeks. The other reason is: I really don't want to have any more strictures because they are so painful!!

Karen, Thanks so much for your good wishes and your prayers. I read your journey and appreciated your honesty. I also suffer from depression and anxiety and I am curious if that will change post-op. Best wishes to you and your family. Tricia P.S. Thanks for explaining about using the G-d symbol. I am a Christian and I have studied Old Testament history quite a bit and remember that I was told that the scribes of old even changed to a clean pen when they wrote the Lord's name, out of reverence. I didn't realize that that same honor is still given His Name. That is nice to know.
