SNOW
Jan 19, 2008
Oh my goodness! We woke up to snow this morning, 1/19/2007 and it is beautiful. We are all so excited. It has been sooo long since we have seen a good snow like this. I'm doing pretty good, trying to get back on track. I've gained about 20 pounds by just not paying closer attention to what I'm eating. Trying to stay away from the bad carbs and eat more protein and good for you stuff. I'm still happy with my weight though. Anyway, there are a couple of pics of the snow under photos if ya'll would like to take a look.
WOW! 5 years
Sep 20, 2007
Well, it has been five years ago today that I had my surgery. I do thank God and Dr. Miles for this surgery. It has changed my life. I'm so much happier now that I was then. I have gained about 15 to 20 pounds back but I'm still happier than I was 5 years ago. I'm hoping once things get settled for my family I will be able to join Weight Watchers and get this weight back off. I do better with groups then I do on my own. I do notice that I am able to eat more now and I have to watch myself. My heart feels like it will beat out of my chest if I try to eat anything too sugary, which is good. It makes me not want to eat those things. I am very thankful for this surgery.
Finally moving
Jul 23, 2007
Well, we are finally moving. The movers will be here to pack us on the 3rd and move us on the 6th. We found a house to rent in Thomasville, AL but are trying to buy a house in Sweet Water, AL. I'm praying we will be able to get a loan because I'm tired of renting but I know it is God's will be done, not mine. God always knows best. Momma is doing good. She went to church for the first time on Sunday since she was diagnosed. We lost our beagle, Belle on Sunday. She was poisoned somehow, we aren't sure how. We miss her terribly but will get another when we get settled. As far as weight, I'm staying about the same. Since we have not had insurance I haven't had blood work done but hopefully we will be getting insurance soon. Anyway, that is it for now. Ttyl.

Well, my dh finally got a job but that means we will be moving once again. This makes 9 moves in our 19 year marriage. We will be moving back to Alabama but southern AL this time instead of northern. I found out yesterday that momma's lymphoma is in remission. I do praise God for that!!! Things are finally starting to look up. :)
