I took a trip to Florida to go diving.  I did three tanks in the caves in Ginnie Springs.  It was a great dive.  The cave is about 45 deep and 120 feet horizontel.  

Cost to dive $30 per day.  $5 tank refills.  Water temp was 72 degrees.    I don't have any photos that are good but, the guy I dove the cave with sent me a couple.  I will upload on this group.

I am very interested in a Florida trip to go diving.  Would anyone like to work with me on planning a Ginnie Springs trip?

Last night I was putting my daughter to bed and I laid her down and gave her a bottle.  I whispered in her ear my secret that I tell her every night.  Then I went to the other side of the room to turn off the light.  As I turned off the light I heared Baili say ..."Daddy" ...I turned to see her standing in her crib looking at me and I said "what honey what do you want?"  Baili said, "Daddy, I want a kiss".  How could I resist. 

19 months - already I am in trouble. 

This journey led me to this and many other moments just like this.  Prior to gastric bypass I had not fathered children.  So, if I never lose another lb and or if I gain 10 lbs - I can still say "I got a kiss out of the deal" 

It was worth it.

 

Just making an announcement that I am now scuba certified!  - After many, many, years of wanting to dive - I can do it.  I will be looking to start a bariatric divers clubs on OH - if you are interested in joining me please let me know!

I almost forgot how hard plateaus are!  I have been on a low calorie and low carb diet for about a month now.  I lost 11bs last month.  I am happy with the 11 but I was hoping for 20.  Smile.

I have not moved in about a week to 10 days.  I forgot how bad plateaus make you feel.  But here I am "mr plateau". 

Its harder to lose weight the longer you are out from surgery.  So, I am learning not to compare the beginning and the ending as they are NOT the same.  I keep reminding myself plateaus come and plateus go.  Hopefully sooner rather than later.
