After a long wait the time is finallly here for my RNY.  I have a lot of emotions floating around in my head right now. Right choice wrong choice? I had a lapband in 2008. I did great loosing 100+ pounds. In 2015 things went awry and needed to have it removed. 

Reading good posts are very uplifting. Reading troubled posts makes me very nervous. What if it happens to me?

After along wait to get my surgery date it is finally here. I was banded in 2008 and lost over 130 lbs. in 2016 I became very sick and ended up with aspiration pneumonia due to complications from the band. After removal it was like a light switch of feeling bad was turned off. I felt great. I tried hard to keep my weight off. My body had its own idea........ 2 years later I am preparing for RNY. Excited and of course nervous. Here we go with another mountain to get over. I can do it.
