Hi all
i live in New Zealand (so forgive me if I lapse into kilograms occasionally!)
i had a gastric band fitted 2008. Worked great for two or three years, got down to 175 pounds. Then the port broke. Got it replaced. Then it blocked - clearing it did something odd. Now I can't get any restriction, been dicking with it for 5 years. ENOUGH! Am currently back up to 230kg - starting weight was 265.
So, booked in for a RNY bypass (fobs pouch, with restrictive silastic ring) on 14 December.
So, the journey begins again...
