I am super excited about the results of the surgery, but I have found that I cannot seem to keep my interest on the surgery, if that makes sense?
I am not excited but I am not scared either? Does that make sense to any of You?

So, in the last couple weeks, I have been poked by needles, attached to machines that calculate my heart (ekg), an upper gi, and generally examined for my pre op phase. With that said, I have been having a VERY hard time with the surgeons office I originally selected. Two days ago, I chose to go a different direction.
After contacting the new surgeons office, I have been delighted to speak with them and fiind out information. I'm finally able to get excited about my changes again!
<3 Looking forward to scheduling my surgery date with Doctor Scott at Floyd Medical!

I am having some second thoughts, and it is not because of the surgery, but because I have anxiety. Has anyone with serious anxiety issues ever gone through with the surgery? If so, was the effect on you? What was your anxiety like both pre-op and post-op?
I am also having some SERIOUS difficulties with the coordinator for the office I am going through, which is only making all of this anxiety worse...

As a person that struggles with generalized anxiet, and depression (Which is common upon obese folks, or so I hear.), I am having a LOT of trouble with pre-op jitters. This is my 3rd surgery in the last 3 years. I hope this one goes as well as the others did.
(Sitting and waiting for my scheduler to call! )
