Stomach spasm

Stomach spasms throughout day and night  and when sipping fluids. Day 4 of gastric sleeve. Coming out of surgery was awful with upper stomach pain. I am having stomach spasms throughout the day/night and also when I am having fluids. Is this common. It takes me 45 minutes to drink a optifast thank you in advance
