Well it has been a little over 3 monthssince surgery and I  am down 99 lbs from my high of 393. It's been a long time since I was in the 200s. All is well eating is fine but I do tend to eat to fast.

Had my 6 week check up yesterday. I am down to 335lbs thats 58lbs total wooo hooooo!!!!!!!

 10-17-06 Today I went to see a friend Shirley. She had her surgery today.Meet her great family and saw her for a moment when she got to her room.She was in and out of sleep and surrounded by her family. I hope to here from her tomorrow. While I was there I went to my surgens office at the hospital and got on his scale.-6 more lbs for a total of 53lbs

  10-11-06 Well today I am one month out. I am down a total of 47 lbs.35lbs since my 3 day preop.Everything has been going great.

9-27-06 I had my two week checkup today. I am down 18 since the morning of surgery. I am down 40lbs total. I can't believe how smooth this all has been. I went back to work early I am soooo board at home.I believe I have a 4 week appointment with the nurse I will update then.

9-13-06 I am home !!! Came home last night. Only one night in the hospital. I am able to get in my water and walking alot. Feel really god exceptfor the gas pressure. Sure hopr that goes away soon. I went in on monday 9-11 at 8am and had my IV started vitals preg test go over all my paperwork and I was in the OR by 9:45. I remember getting on the or table and the lady telling me that she was going to ad something to my IV to make me alittle sleepy and thats all I remember till I woke up 1hour and 30-45 min later. I spent 2 hours in recovery and then off to my room. I walked 2 times the first night and took ice chips and water right away.The next day they came in and removed my IV and cathiter. I felt so much better after that. Then I walked and walked and walked.I am takeing vicodin for pain as needed (gas pain) and sleeping some here and there.

9-4-06 Only one week left. I am getting excited and my allegries are kicking my butt today.AARRGGGGGG. Have to do my shopping today for surgery.One more thing done.

8-28-06 Well am I ever nervous now.I had so much to keep me occupied before now.I had a big birthday party for my daughter,my husband to get off to his new job and the kids to get off to school. Not to mention my last Dr.s appt.As of this afternoon it is all done. Now what?Just me and my nerves.2 weeks and counting.

8-22-06 I met Dr.Brown yesterday all went great.I loved his staff and I felt like he really took the time to talk to me, although I felt like I didnt need to ask that many questions. The questions I did have he was great with.So only one more appt for my pre-op tests and then the BIG day.

8-21-06 3 weeks from today I will be a loser. I still am not nervous about the surgery more nervous about all of the things to get ready around my house.The kids go back to school next week and my husband starts a new job.I will want to scrub the house down the day before getting all my people lined up to get kids to where they need to be. Bills to be paid.All of that makes me nervous.
On a great note my Kaiser plan was to run out on 11-30-06 and I was going to have to get my own policy and pay out of pocket after that. The great thing about my husbands new job is that we get Kaiser insurance and it starts on 12-1-06 so no laps in coverage.
I meet with the surgon tomorrow for my pre-op stuff with him so I will update later.
