i am 4 days post surgery and feeling pretty good... still not able to get down more than 2-3 oz at a time of clears but am feeling hungry. Fair amount of indigestion but better since chewing TUMS every couple hours. Minimal pain meds!! How is are other newbies feeling?

Today I am officially one month out from VSG surgery. This is a place I never thought I would be.....I have yo yo'd since the age of 12. Name a structured, non-structured, dangerous weight loss program and I have tried it. i have been succussful multiple times but always end up back to this point but with an extra 20 lbs. I am the heaviest I have every ben with the excpetion of being 9 months pregnant 19 years ago.

I would be lying if I didnt say I am nervous. Not because of the actual surgery but fear it will fail. NOthing has worked in the last 10 years or so I donot have high hopes.

I read what people eat on a daily basis and my diet is not much different from that most days so i am fearful. To be continued
