I was prescribed vitamin k to be taken 3 days before my surgery by my surgeon .Anyone else have to do this .I have no medical issues in this Dept .

Has anyone had to take oral vitamin k 3 days before the surgery? I have no health issues in this Dept but my surgeon wanted me to take it.

Hope everyone is enjoying this wonderful weather .Feeling a little tired today .Think I might be doing too much lately .I'm still off work but finding little things to keep busy while recovering.

Had my surgery on Tuesday .Everything went good. Woke up very medicated. Got Morphin for the first day then switched over to oxycodone then onto Tylenol 3's. Had one little bout of nausea when I got up first time after surgery.

Hope everyone had a safe weekend, the weather has been crazy. I have been on Optifast for a week as of tomorrow, starting to not be as hungry yesterday and could not finish my 4 packets and today is the same I am not very hungry an

Had my appointment and Dr. Bhojani said I was the perfect candidate for the surgery. Gave me 2 weeks of Optifast which I tried to persuade him to give me less lol, I was told he normally gives 3 weeks worth but was told another Surgeon only gives 1 wee

I gained 2 lbs since seeing the dietitian in February. Now I'm worried the surgeon won't allow me to have the surgery or I will have to do weeks of Opti.

Just got my appointment to meet the Surgeon in Guelph for April 6th; and just realized that is next week

Spoke with Psychiatrist to let her know I have finished all my appointments and doing my craving change group. Was told I will receive a phone call in 2 weeks to either book my nutrition class or an appointment to meet the surgeon which may come first
