I was always the skinny kid growing up.  Three kids later and a difficult marriage contributed to my weight gain.  I took care of everyone except myself.  I had had the gastric sleeve in 2012 and it was pretty successful but a very long sleeve so I had the DS revision in 2014.  I went from 230 to 160 and just got stuck.  As my husband and I started looking towards retirement in the next 10 years and I'd just been told the doctors suspected that I had Fatty Liver Disease it was a wake up call!  I took this time during COVID to focus on me (since I was able to work from home for the first time) and found my joy in working out and getting fit again. I've managed to get back on track and down to a healthy 125.  My ultrasound to determine the fatty liver was delayed due to COVID and by the time that I had the ultrasound I'd dropped 30lbs and it was negative!  I'm still a work in progress but ultimately you have to tell yourself that you are worth it!
