I haven’t been on the forums lately, but here’s a progress photo! I had RNY January 2018. 100lb difference! I feel so much better.

Most of my family has gone from being super supportive, to bitter about my weight loss. I can no longer update my mom on my weight loss like I used to because she gets annoyed and says “it must be nice. Stop bragging.” And tries to force me to eat

I’m so happy to be halfway to my goal!

I am SO excited to be under 200!

I am 6 months out and have lost 75lbs.

My mind keeps telling me I am not losing enough. It consumes me.

Am I losing enough? Is it just in my head? Did you struggle with this?

I’m almost 3 months out and lucky me, I got the flu! Any soup or food ideas...Or even drinks? Also any medication I could get over the counter? I plan on calling my doctor tomorrow. His office is closed right now.

I have been stuck at between 270 and 267 for almost 2 weeks now!! Wtf? What’s going on? Is this normal after surgery? I am getting my protein shakes in and eating about 300 calories a day (that’s all I can eat right now).

What does a stricture feel like? I was eating lean ground beef and it got stuck before going into my pouch. It feels tight and I get sharp pains in my chest where it’s stuck. I’m seeing my weight loss doctor tomorrow...

I’m a little over 2 weeks out from RNY and I have noticed my poop is...well...pale. Like, SUPER pale. Is this normal?

I’ve had shingles once before, 5 years ago.

In the last few days I have developed shingles once again (yes, you can get it more than once) a week after surgery. A couple people have told me major surgery can reactivate it in your body.

i have been doing well. Not feeling sick at all, just super tired.

Anyone here use PB2? 2 tablespoons is 1g sugar, 5g carbs, 1.5g fat, 2g fiber, And 45 calories. I was looking to only add HALF a serving to protein shakes in a couple weeks when I am more recovered.

i have 2 boxes of vanilla Optifast for anyone who needs it. I am 30-40 minutes east of Ottawa (near the Calypso Waterpark in Limoges) I ended up not liking the vanilla and went back and got 2 chocolate from my clinic.

This is for all my Canadians. I have trouble finding the Blender Bottle at Walmart, and when I do it’s hsually $10-$12 CAD

(I also live in a small town 1 hour outside the city so there’s not many stores I can go to)
