I did it!

Feb 17, 2018

Thanks for all your support. Everything was successful! Right after surgery I questioned my judgement, and the few days in the hospital although needed was not conducive to sleeping and resting. I did however, get myslef out of bed, started walking, drinking and hence, started my recovery. I did gain a few pounds, but didn't freak out, I'm feeling positive that this change of life style will mean a better, happier, and certainly healthier life.

Now that I'm home and slept for almost a night, with meds, I'm still a bit overwhelmed. I am trying to follow orders precisely, with crushing meds, meds in general and fluids. I'm lucky to have the support of my family, and my husband and daughter took Flinstones with me. Wish me luk because I was told to take off the bandages and take a shower today. Don't know why I let the little things scare me, but the thought of having clean hair is incentive enough for me today!
