Had my lapband out for 3 months already and my acid reflux is back and it’s quite bad. I have a known sliding hiatus hernia. My surgeon is now discussing the option of RNY as a fix for the acid and of course will help with weight loss but at a weight

So after 6 years I had emergency surgery to remove my band as my port was infected. Though I hated the band it did stop me from gaining weight and I did “mourn” the loss of it especially the cost & thought would be for “life”
