Trying to get back on track and lose the weight again. Sigh........
Looking at old pictures
Jan 07, 2013
Wow I looked back over the progress pictures I took my 1st year after my WLS and now I am itching to get back down. Not sure I want to get back down to my lowest weight (always felt like that was too low to begin with) but I think I would like to get back to around 170 lbs. Will see where this takes me.
New Year and New Determination
Jan 01, 2013
So somehow I managed to maintain my 15 lb loss through the holidays without getting in to the gym at all. I made it through my birthday (only had 1 piece of cake & threw the rest out), Thanksgiving (a few pieces of pie during the week), my youngest daughter's bday (no dessert), my dad's bday (no dessert), and Christmas (with 10 dozens homemade cookies at my house).
I am physically feeling the difference from not steadily working out and am ready to get back on track. Regular gym schedule here I come!
Extra lbs gone again

I have been back to the gym a little bit. Managed to get those pesky 4 lbs back off. These last few weeks have been difficult. Between my husbands car accident, crazy work schedule, etc. I am so off track with getting to the gym. Ugh! The holidays are coming and I have go to stay on track.
Up a few lbs
Oct 23, 2012
So my husband was in a car accident at the beginning of the month and things have been crazy. I haven't been able to really get to the gym and needless to say I have been stress eating. Up 4 lbs right now. Guess I better get my butt in gear.

Wow so amazed that I am down a total of 15 lbs now! And that was actually after being on vacation for a week. So glad I was able to make good choices.

Changes coming
Jun 02, 2012
So I lost my workout buddy. The coworker who was going with me to the gym had to quit due to finances and physical health. I am more determined than ever to get myself on track. Ultimately I have gained 24 lbs since I stopped smoking, that is 67 lbs from my goal weight where I originally was. I have evaluated a few things and I see where stress/depression have played into my eating a lot in the last year. I also see where I can make several changes with my eating that are going to be a lot healthier choices for me. I am going to attempt to implement my ideas and see how this work out.
