Its my re-birthday! Just wanted to update everyone and let you know...that all is well. It has been 4 long years now...I no longer have self esteem issues; I no longer care what anyone says or thinks about my weight loss or me period. I have finally found my true self...I love myself; my marriage is so much better...I am no longer 300lbs and I will never be that way again. Although I am not a size 6; I am happy! It took me so many years to find my inner happiness; no more drama! I want to thank all of my friends here....back in 2002 there was hardly any outside support other than this website. People were so ignorant regarding weight loss surgery and we still have a long ways to go. Continue to educate yourself; enjoy life; and lose weight; gain weight; workout; and reward yourself. Remember this is only a tool...use it to your advantage and you will have nothing but success! Sorry this post is so long; but I have so much to be thankful for.....I could cry! I went to my 20 year high school reunion; and everyone gained weight; but it felt good not be the biggest woman there! In high school I was a size 8 and now I am a size 14...not bad for 20 years.

Morning! Well...I am now 35 years old and feeling great! I have lost a total of 80 lbs and I have about 50 more lbs to go! Although I am a slow loser, I am still losing...I am a size 14, finally under 190lbs...so I'm not complaining! I just wanted to tell all the other slow losers don't give up, and you may be on the 15 month plan that I am on...lolol...but I am still glad that I had the surgery...it has changed my life...It has been 13 months since I had my surgery and I just knew I would be finished losing the weight, but the good thing about it is, that my skin is not sagging or hanging which I thought for sure would happen to me. So all is well and I only hope that I can encourage someone else who is having a long weight loss journey like I am!
