Hi Sandy, you're almost to your big day! I'm so happy for you and want you to know I'll be thinking of you. Personally, I have not regretted having my RNY one single day and I hope (believe) you will be able to say the same thing. It seems like the hardest part is the pre-surgery anticipation, but modern medicine is a wonderful thing and we are so lucky to live in this day and age! On top of that, your Surgeon is very capable and will bring you through this. Before you know it, you're going to wake up on the losing side with a big smile on your face and an amazing journey in front of you. I'll be anxiously awaiting your first post-op update! Super hugs! Just remember you are on the journey of a lifetime. Try to enjoy every minute. It may sound weird now, but know that you are cared for and prayed for here, and all too soon this will be but a memory and you will be an inspiration to someone else. I am waiting for you on the losers' bench!
