Hi Terri, the first three weeks are the worst after knee replacement but just like WLS I am so glad I did it, in fact I had two knee replacements within six months. Hang tough, do what the physical therapist tells you to and rest between exercises. Praying for quick healing for you and believe me in three months you will be so happy as you walk along with no pain. Mary in Anaheim
