Had my appointment to request referral on Sept. 25th. Doc said to call her in four weeks if I hadn't heard anything. Called today. The referral was sent on Sept. 28th. I still haven't heard anything :( 

Does it usually take this long just to get the initial call back?

Requested physician's referral today to Ontario Bariatric Network (for Ottawa Hospital).
