I am trying to get approved for 2nd stage DS. Had an upper GI done which showed no issues. My BMI is 36.5 with comorbidities. What are my chances of getting approved? I have BCBS of FL.

I am one week out from surgery today! It has been a rough week, but I am on the mend now. Had a leak that was caught on upper GI on Saturday morning and was rushed back to surgery. Came home Monday. I am down 22lbs so far.

Due to having developed hypoglycemia my surgeon wants to revise my bypass to a duodenal switch but in two separate surgeries. Will insurance approve this? Original surgery was in 2014.
