Hi, I am Eric I am from Chattanooga Tennessee. I am a trucker driver of 17 years. Life as a trucker is very rewarding . I get a chance to travel the world. However, like anything in any career you're bound to have some cons in your line of work. While i enjoyed the freedom of my job I didn't eat the best. I put on tons of weight. I was living a very unhealthy lifestyle. We (truckers) eat a lot of fast food on the road. Mcdonald's, Pizza hut, crappy gas station food, etc.

I hit my breaking point when I almost steered off the road because I was falling asleep. Eating junk food made me very sluggish and tired all of the time. All I wanted to do is sleep. I had to make a change in my life. I have 3 kids. Two boys and one girl. They need their daddy to come home. So I started doing research and tried multiple crash diets that I feel miserably at. My cousin was 515lbs  (dangerously obese) told me what he did to lose his weight. He now weighs 278lbs the last time I spoke to him so I thought what he had to say was worth listening to. I read the book "This is your brain on food" which explains that eating habits (good or bad) are a direct connection to psychology. I read this book over and over. This book truly saved my life, Literally Man! So I'm in this forum in support of my cousin and to share the information that helped me. Btw the way, if you want to check out the book it's free .
