Christi, My date is quickly approaching too. I have the same fear as you, the blood clot thing. But you know what, the chances are low, and we have God on our side. Plus the fact that blood clots can occur naturally (my grandmother died from one), and not everyone drops dead from them,(survived a really bad case of dvt's in 95), they are frequently treated. So I think that it is really in our favor that we will have awesome outcomes. I have talked to a few people who had dvt's real close to their surgery and they are still around and losing, getting healthy. We'll make it. Lisa
