8/22/03 - Well, my surgery has been officially cancelled. My WBC was at 17.5 Tuesday when checked for pre-op visit, and 17.6 today (in spite of being on antibiotics). So we now need to find out what's going on with my white blood count and try to fix the problem - then we can reschedule the surgery. My thanks to all who've been supportive so far and those to come. I will see you all "on the other side" soon.
