Hi, Amos Family! I'm home from the hospital now. My mom-in-law came up to get me and brought me home. It was so good to see my dogs and cat. I can't believe how well I feel. As my daughter posted, I was up doing "laps" around the nurse's station yesterday and this morning. I found that when I walked, it REALLY helped relieve the gas pain and pressure from having my belly inflated. <p>I still have my drain tube in and will hopefully get it out Monday at my post-op appt. I gained 3 pounds while in the hospital on the IV's, but I was expecting that; I'd heard that weight gain after surgery was VERY common, so I didn't worry about it. I had lost 2 of those 3 pounds by this morning.</p> <p>Overall, I feel really good; just tired. I feel like I did waaay too many sit ups! LOL! The site where my JP tube is pinches a little, but it's nothing major.</p> <p>Well, I'm gonna go lie down for a little while. The drive home really wore me out! Thanks to everybody who posted to my surgery page, and to my Angel Ann for keeping everyone updated for me. I'm so blessed to have found this site! To all the pre-ops, don't worry about a thing; the only thing I will say is follow your doctor's instructions, and WALK!!!! It will make you feel sooo much better! Take care everybody...

WAHOOOO...the LOVELY and WONDERFUL Moiasa has been d/c this morning @ 10 AM I will call her at home and she most likely will update you herself. CONGRATULATIONS MOIASA!!!!!!!!! BIG HUGS!!!! <3 Ann <3

Hey everyone this is Michelle (Moiasa's daughter) I wanted to tell everyone that she is doing WONDERFUL she walked 8 laps when I talked to her at 7 o'clock. She will be able to come home tomorrow and post for herself she thanks everyone for the support everyone has given to her. And I thank you for giving my Mom that I love so much the courage to get through this. She couldn't have done it with out you guys. Thanks a lot. You guys are really angels thank you again. Just wanted to let everyone know that Moiasa is doing great. I saw her tonight, her surgery was @ noon nd I saw her @ 6PM. She had been up walking once before I got there and was headed for another walk. She was sleepy after her walk, of course, but she was doing great. I will call her tomorrow and see how she is doing, she should be a little more alert. please let her know how much we miss her...HUGS ~Ann~
