The surgery went well. I am hope and recovering. Thank you so much for the prayers and the words of encouragement. It seemed whenever I was doubting myself I would sign and someone would be encouraging me. I am doing really well and looking forward to spending the day with my family, it will be first Thanksgiving that I don't fixate on the food but rather on my blessings. Thank you all for your support.

Good luck with your surgery tomorrow. I had the surgery in September in Birmingham, AL and have already lost 30 pounds. You'll be so glad you had it. I'll be praying for you!

Hi Melanie... I just wanted to say good luck to you and that my prayers are with you!! We have the same date and surgery. To me this date will be my new birthday.... I would say that I will be thinking about you.. but I dont think I will be thinking....lol.... A most speedy recovery to you!!!!!

Melanie, best wishes for your upcoming surgery. I had mine in November 2000, and I have never had a single regret. One thing that may help to remember is that the nervousness is over with when you wake up in the recovery room to your new life.
