Hello Everyone, I wanted to thank all of you again for your prayers and good wishes. it means so much to me. I have found a sweet, loving and caring special ANGEL, Amy Harris. She has been a Godsend to me. Before I found this site, I was alone, but now, I am making new friends, and it is so wonderful to have people who really know, what you are going thru. I had my pre-op's April the 5th, and other than alot of gas, from the upper GI, and drinking the barrium (YUK), and more than a few trips to the bathroom, I survived. I also had to go to a pulmonary Dr, his name is, Dr Agagan, in Mobile, Ala. He was the highlight of my day, such a funny, kind caring man. He had me in stiches, he was asking me some very mundane questions, and out of the blue asked me when the last time I bungee jumped, very seriously, said "What??" He was going to check my neck, and looked at me, and said, I am going to strangle you now......just little things like that. Then right before I left, this little 125lb, man insisted we take a before and after picture togeather, he said it was maditory. The staff was excellant, and so was he, I highly reccommend him. Well all, I am one week away from surgery tuesday am...... Thank you so much for your time, your friendships, and love and prayers. I go to the heart Dr. tommrow for a clearence from them, then as far as I know it is back to the countdown. Love and hug's and prayers to all of you, Jeannie

Jeanne, I am wishing you a successful, complication-free surgery and a smooth, quick recovery. I had my open RNY on 12/10/01 and have absolutely NO regrets other than not having done it several years sooner. It is, without a doubt, the best thing I could have done for myself. God bless you as you begin your healthy new life.

Hey all! Angel ^j^ coming in for a landing. My sweet Angelette made it through her pre-op tests. She didn't really enjoy the barrium they made her drink and is glad that part is over. She loved her doctor. She thought that he was very funny and made her laugh. We need more doctors like that. Jeanne only has 9 more days til her surgery, so please go and give her your love and support. God bless you Jeanne and everyone. Lots of love and hugs, Amy
