Elizabeth, I am just shy of four month post-op and I wanted to encourage you----YES, YOU WILL EAT AGAIN! I know where you are at, and it's a difficult place to be-----but as 'they say': "This to shall pass." Keep your chin up girl, your doing a great job! Sincerely, Lori Ann

ELIZABETH~~ You will eventually be able to eat "normal" foods again.... after surgery your stomach is irritable. The stomach's healing process is similar to that of a new baby learning ot eat. Some babies spit up a lot, and some vomit a lot in the beginning- the same with new WLS patients. Be patient with your new stomach. By 3 to 4 months, nearly everyone is able to tolerate most foods well.

Elizabeth, many warm wishes and prayers are being sent your way for a speedy recovery. The first 8 weeks after surgery are the toughest, as your body tries to heal while you are learning to nourish it again. Just don't give up and remember, WALK, WATER, PROTEIN! Even if you can only get in a little, keep it up. {{{HUGS}}}
