HI EVERYONE, THANK YOU FOR ALL OF YOUR SUPPORT DURING THIS UNBEARABLE WAITING PERIOD.I WAS APPROVED IN MARCH AND STILL WAITING FOR A SURGERY DATE WITH DR. A. SOME TIME IN LATE JULY OR EARLY AUGUST IS WHAT I LAST HEARD FROM THE DR.'S OFFICE. GOOD LUCK TO ALL ON REACHING YOUR GOALS.

Hang in there Lisa. I was thru all my consult stuff and finally got my approval only for my surgeon to go out on medical leave himself (knee surgery). It was over a month from my approval that I got my date then it was still another month till THAT day....I waited a total of 8 months from the initial consult to my actual surgery!!! I did have to get my PCP to write a presciption for nerve pills I was so upset and anxious. But it finally happened on April 23!! I'm doing great now after a few bumps in the road right after the surgery and go for my 4 week follow up tomorrow. (at my 2 week I was down 15 lbs so I'm so excited to here the weight this time, especially since I am tryng to get some walking in between these rain storms). God Bless. Jamie (Ohio)
