This seems like it's been a lOOOOOOOng week. Got back from the hospital yesterday. My tummy hurts, isn't there anything that works better than Demerol and doesn't make you nod off? My picture should be appearing with this post. My mom's fistula is slowly healing. Apparently they tried a different way to repair it, we won't know that it works until a few days. I wish my mom and sis were home. My hubby's trying to be a substitute, but........

I'm leaving for the hospital soon and feel very relaxed and calm. I want to thank all of you who left such wonderful messages of support on my surgery page. I've learned so much from all of you! Cecilia

Good luck on your surgery. I had mine 9/5 and feel great. I have been walking, drinking my water and having my delicious jello and broth. No regrets. Hope your goes as great as mine. Christy in Utah.

9/7/03 Just one wake-up until I get another chance at a healthy life. I'm looking forward to the 4 weeks off work, but how much time off can the mother of a three year old get? I'll post once I get back from the hospital. Wish me luck!
