2/27/01 Yesterday I did all of my lab work and x-rays and pre-registered. I guess this is it. I am officially 9 days from crossing over (if you count today). I am so excited. Both of my parents have given me their blessings. That has meant so much to me. I will be at Clovis Community, Clovis, California. My angel is Tam Purol. I would be honored if you would all say a prayer for me. I guarantee I will return the favor. Best of luck to everyone. I pray that we all have a quick recovery and great success. Lots of hugs. Hi Kelly, I am so excited for you!! I will be praying for you on March 7th and each day after. I know how you feel about being nervous. My date is March 15th and it just seems unreal. We have a lot to be thankful for and I know that we will succeed!!! I hope everything goes smooth and you have a quick recovery- I will write more later- By the way "Happy Birthday" -Kelly

2/20/01 Well, 15 days and counting. The nerves are starting to kick in. I have no regrets or doubts about doing this. I am just preparing myself for the major life changes. I have an appt with Dr. Felix on 2/22/01 for pre-op. I guess that is when I will get all of the good info on this. I have met some really neat people here. My angel is Tam Purol. I have had the opportunity to speak to her on the phone. She is a real "kick in the pants." She is having surgery today. I am praying that she will be alright. I will update more in a few days.
