Rebecca, Congrats on your plastic surgey and best of wishes. I also live in Knoxville and will need someone to talk to before long. As well as a doc to do my surgery. I would love to hear about your experiences when you are home and have recovered. We have a support group going in Knoxville if you would like to join us. It would be wonderful to have someone that is 2 years post op. KimmieTN

Dear Rebecca~~~~CONGRATULATIONS!!! on your upcoming plastic surgery. I will keep you in my prayers for a flawless procedure and a complete recovery. I had a herniorraphy and panniculectomy on 5/21. I was home the next day. An amazing difference. Each day I notice something different and better. May God watch over you. Be well, be blessed.

Hey Rebecca! Just read you profile. LOOKING GOOD! I can't believe what a difference a year can make. I have my open RNY in less than two days, June 12, 2001. I hope mine goes as well as yours and I especially hope that I get the good results from it that you have. Good Bless.

Dear Rebecca, Hope you're feeling well today. I wish I was on that side of surgery. I am so depressed these days, and I know it's because they are making me jump through the hoops. I see a psychologist on Tuesday, and my doctor thinks this may help document the fact that my depression may be resolved if I have wls. Are you able to spend much time at your computer? If you would like, I can look for some websites to help you pass the time. Just let me know what you like. I'm into goofy stuff, being a clown, so humor in a family oriented way is my biggie. I like crafts, too, but I don't do as much of them as I'd like. Anyway, thanks for your honest opinions about your surgery. It wouldn't do anyone much good if everyone sugar coated everything. I'm dreading it as much as I'm looking forward to it. Keep your spirits up, girlie. - Becky in Smithville

Hi Rebecca, I'm so happy to read that you're doing better. Your profile was one of the first few I read upon finding this site. I have read your journey, and I'm glad to hear that it has gone well, especially since you have finally started to feel better. I haven't posted before, so I feel this note is to show that a lot of us yet-to-be posters are behind you as well as the daily angels who post often. God bless you in you're new life. 7-7-00 What a difference a day makes. Almost two weeks post op and feel so much better today. I am trying to walk everyday and move around a little better each day. I am still weak but that too is getting better. Thanks you dear friends for all your caring notes of encouragement! Love to you all.
