i am almost 4 months post op and have lost 8 lbs since my last posting. i have been losing more and more hair. i know i am getting enough protein every day, this could be from not getting right after the surgery. ireally hat to complain because i could be losing it for another reason. oh boy the flab, i am in the gym every day working on special areas arms thighs even my poor old knee has gotten flabby and i thought is was swelling that made it so big. i will have knee replacement surgery next nov. hopefully that will take up the slack. any suggestions on the hair!

The worst is behind you, I'm sure, and it's all better from here on out. Dr. Carter will be doing my surgery, too, so I've been waiting for your update! :) Keep me posted on your progress. Sending prayers for your continued improvement!

thanks to each abd everyone for all your prayers. thanks to lora for calling and coming by well it's been 10 days since surgery and each day is a little better. i just did not think i would be this weak. their were a few complications during surgery, dr. carter and i had already talked about it hoping and praying he would not have to change the way my surgery would be done.thank god it is over with and now it's how to get that protein in me now. all the shakes at this point make me sick,i have tried fruit drinks. any good suggestions. i am always up for some help. it's in the morning and it is the first time i have been awake this late.i am walking some probably not as much as i should be. i am taking it easy for the first time i any surgery i have ever had.
