I went to the doctor on 5-30-02 and that was 2 weeks since my surgery. I found out that i have lost 34 lbs. in 2 weeks....oh my goodness!!! I cannot beleive this. That is so cool to me. I can't see it in myself but people are telling me that they can see it in my face already. I think this is so wonderful. I'm sorry my updates aren't too close together but I have been busy. I'm so happy to be here on the other side. It's great!!! :)~

HELLO~I just got home from the hospital on 5/19/02 at 5:00pm.Is there anyone who can tell me what kind of aches and pains I will be feeling the first week home from surgery??? PLease let me know something!!! I was in the hospital for 5 days and today 5/20/02 is my first and the surgery was such a success. I'm glad I also got my gallbladder taken out when I had my surgery. My doctor usually does this with all his patients. He says they usually end up needing it out later on in life anyway so to avoid another surgery later~he takes them out then. Good thing because mine was in very poor shape. I'm glad it is gone. He said I might have had a disease in it. MY incision is exactly as long as an unsharpened pencil. I had two hoses, one on each side of my incision. The one on the right side was to drain fluid in my stomach from the surgery. The other one on the left side of my incision is a tube to my new stomach. It is draining juices and stuff. The one on right side was taken out the day i left the hospital, and the one on the left side is still in for 2 weeks and when i go back to the doctor, he will take that one out. I'm glad I had the surgery!!! :) I cant wait to see results!!!
