"My first impression of Dr Barry Haicken was a good one. I found him to be a soft spoken man with a real depth of caring and concern for his patients. He is very thorough in going over all aspects of the surgery with you and the aftercare. He particularly speaks on the risks so that you are well informed and know what you are getting involved with. He preforms the RNY and the DS procedures. He has an established support meeting for both groups. At this point and time, his RNY group meets twice a month and is pretty large, with a clothing exchange setup already. His DS group is just getting started and meets once a month. His nurse practioner, Ms Hazzard, is a delight and makes a good first impression for him, of his organization. "
