rachel- i am 10 days post op and i am feeling the same way!! damn i can "eat" 1 cup of broth for lunch in about 1/2 hour and i can have a whole 8oz package of CIB for breakfast yea it takes me a while to consume it, but i can do it. i was freakin on that also. since it is liquid it is being passed right thru, i also have heard that once we start on solids (cant wait) we will finally feel the full feeling like before. this is like learning how to eat all over again. good luck to you, gale

Rachel is feeling and sounding much better today. I spoke with her this afternoon and she was doing a lot better. Congratulations to Rachel and everyone who had surgery this week.

I saw Rachel this evening about 5:00 p.m. She had only been out of surgery and in ICU a short time. I spoke with her family and everything seemed to be going well. She was very groggy and in a lot of pain as would be expected. I will call her sometime tomorrow and do another update tomorrow evening. Keep her in your thoughts and prayers. She is a wonderful young lady and she needs our love and support.
