09-09-04 It's nearly been a year since my surgery, for the most part things are going well, no major complications, save one.. In the last four months I've gained 8 pounds. HELP!! I don't want to go back to the way I was. What am I doing wrong, what can I do to change it?

Met with Dr. Brieling today. Other then him being 45 minutes late to the appointment, due to reasons beyond his control, it was good. He was very informative and explained things well. Have another appointment on June 2.

I have scheduled an appointment with Dr. Brieling for May 21st. Will post more after that appointment..P.S. I have also been thinking of talking to a surgeon at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clincs, because they do lap.

I got some very bad news this morning.. As of June 1st Bariatric Treatment Centers are no longer accepting Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance.. Which, is what I carry.. Hopefully, I can get surgery done in May. If not, it's back to square one with another surgeon. Anyone know what's up with BC/BC and BTC?

I'm sorry to hear you had to cancel your surgery. You probably did the wise thing instead of taking a chance. At least waiting will give the air time to clear out those nasty viruses. Be sure to keep us updated!
