Hi David, I just wanted to say congrat's on your wedding. That is fantastic. I also wanted to thank you wholeheartedly for referring me to Dr. Mehta. I had my surgery about 2 months after you referred me to him last year (10/8/03) and I couldn't be happier with the results. I'd still be 277 today if you didn't rave about Dr. Mehta on this website and how wonderful he was. Thank you, thank you, thank you.
Congrats on your weight loss as well as your wedding. You have done a fantastic job :). I read your profile and the comments about how slow the weight loss seem to you. Do you still feel it's been a bit slow? To me it looks like you made great progress. You should be proud. Keep up the great work and Much happiness to you and your new bride.

-135 and a whole lotta inches
Thursday, August 12, 2004 - I was measured for my tuxedo today for my wedding. 11 sizes smaller for dress pants than pre-wls; 9 sizes smaller in dress shirt than pre-wls; Large vest rather than 4X-Large! What a difference a year makes! Thank God for the WLS tool!
Wednesday, June 23, 2004 - My one-year re-birthday will be here in two days! I can hardly believe the changes to my life in this quick short year! I will be getting married this September! I have shrunk 11 pants sizes, from 4X to Large in shirts, and 7 dress shirt sizes! I still have about 40 pounds to loose to get to my personal goal weight, which is now muich slower, but I feel that I will get there eventually.
Well, the new year has started off with a fast-paced bang. I have now lost a total of 137 pounds, since last January. that is 121 pounds since surgery on June 25, 2003. I would also note that I am no longer associated, nor responsible for the Begin A New You OSSG, Inc., a New Jersey non-profit corporation. I disagree with the tone, direction, and future of that organization.

Tuesday, September 2, 2003 - I just returned home from the WLS Butterfly Foundation convention in Nashville, TN, which was held over Labor Day Weekend 2003. The Butterfly Foundation did a great job, for their first convention. The convention featured speakers on nutrition from Bariatric Advantage, and motivational speakers Ray Miller and Colleen Cook. The resulting lesson is to focus on protein, water, vitamins, nutrition, and exercise. I found the convention helpful and encouraging, and I will look for other conferenxes to attend as well.
Hi David, Sounds like you're doing your part to make this work. You're probably not losing as quickly now because all that exercise is making muscles and thats GOOD!!!! Best wishes for the rest of your journey, (that's a lifetime)!!!BIGGHUGGZZZZ
Saturday, August 23, 2003 - I've been going to physical therapy 3 days per week for about 4 weeks, I have about three more weeks to go, then I will need to continue my routine at a commercial facility. I've been conditioning for aerobic exercise, using the upright bicycle and treadmill, then manual exercises totaling about 45 minutes. The goal is to get a sustained heartrate of 140 beats per minute for a twenty minute duration. My weight has dramatically slowed, which is discouraginf, but I try to focus on my protein, vitamins, water, and exercise. Hopefully, this WLS decision will work and I will attain goal weight.
Hi David. Happy Birthday to you!! And congratulations on the weight loss!! What an awesome thing to happen, in 4.5 weeks you went down 4 pant sizes!! WHOHOOO!!! Continued success to you!! ((((((HUGS))))))
